Exercising in a group is a great way of getting in shape and maintaining your fitness. A group environment adds a social aspect to getting fit, which can boost motivation, energy levels and keeping exercise fun! Some of my class goers meet up outside of class and enter fun runs, Spring Challenge and other events together. That is what I aim to build with my classes – a supportive and friendly exercise community where anyone is welcome!
Check out the following classes on offer with PT on Panckhurst. If you aren’t ready to exercise in a group there are also 1:1 options available or the choice to bring a friend along for a workout just the two of you.

A class with a focus on boxing and fitness all rolled into one. Improve cardio fitness, muscle tone, coordination and power. Boxing is heaps of fun and a great stress reliever! Boxing is known for its high calorie burn, which can accelerate weight loss and fitness gains. With small group sizes and with Laura having a black belt in kickboxing this is a class you do not want to miss! No boxing experience necessary and no need to keep up with complicated routines to music – go at your own pace and see yourself improve week by week.

Monday 9am, Woodend Community Hall

This class is an Approved Strength and Balance Programme with the tick of approval from ACC! This means the class has passed 9 essential criteria points to help keep older adults steady on their feet, fit, strong and independent.
This class is directed at (but not limited to) over 65’s with a view to working on fitness, strength, balance and flexibility/mobility. Get fit for gardening, walking, lifting/carrying and keeping up with the grandkids! Laura likes to keep the sessions fun and challenging in a relaxed atmosphere. Class sizes are kept to a minimum with a focus on individual attention. After class you’re welcome to join us for coffee over at the Grub Hub!
